Overall, a fun read - I started reading this because I so lots of other people reading it, and there was a buddy read, so thanks lovely people! I don't tend to read seasonally but it did seem appropriate to read this close to Halloween. I loved Geekerella, but it didn't actually twig for me that this was by the same author until someone pointed out a reference to the series - doh!

I hated this book. The story was ok but the characters and the writing is some of the worst I have ever seen. I was surprised by the amount of typos in the book for something that wasn't self published. The first one I noticed was in the beginning and it said "is" in place of his. Is it a huge deal? No, but for a book that is not self-published and published by a major publishing house, I expect better. It felt like it was written by an immature high school student carrying a C average in Englis
