this is the third book in the inheritance games trilogy.

avery just has to make it through a few more weeks in hawthorne house to inherit billions, but trouble starts stirring back up, making things harder.

i thought this book was intriguing and it really held my interest. however, i unfortunately wasn’t as captivated by the romance this time around, which was a bummer since i was kinda invested. still, the mystery was great, and i really liked the ending!

I still don't think this was as good as the first one and I have some issues with it that I can't shake, but overall the entertainment level balanced those out and I still love the puzzle aspect of this series.

The mystery that spans this trilogy as a whole is fantastic! We are able to get some closure in every book leading up to this one while still maintaining the overall mystery that is the root of all three. The "why me?" mystery. I personally loved the conclusion to this particular piece an ...more

This series was so good! It was such an easy and fast paced read. I was afraid that since I read the physical books for the first two in the series that I wouldn't love the audiobook, but the audiobook was just as good! The narrator did an amazing job capturing Avery and her character. I loved the plot of this entire series. As I mentioned in the review for The Hawthorne Legacy, the love triangle got on my nerves. I loved this book it was an amazing end to this first part of the story looking forward to getting back into the story soon. I loved the characters even more in this part of the story even if some of them have their moments.
