What Members Thought

Overall, this was a gripping and atmospheric thriller that will leave you breathless. With its compelling characters and intricate plot, it's a must-read for fans of the genre (and those of us, myself included, who don't always like the genre). Alice Feeney has crafted a masterpiece that will linger in your mind long after you've turned the final page.

I liked the present and past flips within this story. The Darker family are straight up savage but it’s been fun reading about them. Rose, Lily and Daisy are a usual group of sisters but hearing different memories made them more “real,” although not necessarily likeable.
Nancy seems like a trip of a mom and that’s a solid no thank you. I still wish I had someone like Nana; what a peach.
The ending was not what I expected and I love that! It also makes me want to reread And Then There We’re None.
