I’ve seen so much hype surrounding this book and I desperately wanted to read it. So when MacMillan Audio gifted me a copy I was thrilled!
Overall I loved the writing style, VE Schwab is so wonderful with the written word. She has this beautiful way of putting together a story.

I loved this and I'm so glad I read it. I was skeptical, never sure if a few select authors can make me love them over and over and over again. I should have known the answer for V.E. Schwab is, of course, YES! She's moved to the very very small list of autobuy authors for me.

DNF @ 30%. I just don't get it. I feel like this could have been a pretty spectacular adventure, but instead its just the day to day existence of a not very likeable heroine. Maybe it changes later, but I just don't feel like hanging around for it. Sorry.
