I didn't really get on board with the hype for Uprooted but I still wanted to give the author a second go and see if Spinning Silver was more my vibe. Whilst it was better I still don't get the hype for either book.

This was just okay for me. It wasn’t terrible, but it’s definitely not one that I will be recommending to people. It dragged on in places and about two thirds through I just kinda wanted to hurry up and finish it. There were elements that I really liked but the story overall was just okay.
