What Members Thought
This was a beast of a book, but I took it slowly and savored every bit. Sometimes long stories can drag but this played out beautifully and I was completely invested the entire time. It helps that Gabriel jumps around a little so we collect pieces as it goes until we have the full picture. Occasionally Gabriel stops to speak with Jean Francois and that also breaks things up. Overall, it's well paced and has plenty of action and drama to keep the reader's attention.
