En yhtään ihmettele kirjan saamaa innostustunutta vastaanottoa, sillä kirja oli hyvä. Jo heti alusta kirja koukutti enkä olisi malttanut jättää kirjaa kesken. Saatoin ehkä lukeakin sen ilman taukoja, jos ei oteta huomioon normaaleja ruoka-, vessa- tai nukkumis(hädin tuskin) taukoja. Kirjoittaminen oli sujuvaa, piti mielenkiintoa yllä ja itse tarina ja lopun ratkaisut olivat erilaisia. Loved it! I will read anything by Taylor Jenkins Reid!!!!

Wow! Just wow! I really liked this novel!! Such a great story that I'm sure was common back in the golden age of Hollywood.
The Good:
-I loved how each husband got his own chapter and the author took the time to let us get to know them.
-The characters were really fleshed out and I loved how you got a sense of what made them click.
-I love old stories of old Hollywood!
-Monique's growth was a beautiful thing to read. I could see myself in her, and the way she blossomed from Evelyn ...more

I really wasn’t expecting this story to be about the subject it ended up being about (sorry, I don’t want to give any spoilers). Overall, it was an engrossing story and I enjoyed the up close glimpse into how Hollywood stars have been managed publicly. It’s also a book that paints intriguing pictures of different versions of love stories and relationships that really touch the heart.
