I think this is a 3.5 for me....
I'm still feeling very conflicted on how I felt about this story. The thing that kept me going was how much I loved Evelyn as a character. I was interested enough in her story to see how things would transpire. However, there are a couple things I didn't love regarding the choices for certain character's story lines and the writing style itself. It read almost too much like an autobiography for me, which I know is the point, but I don't know...

This was an unexpected love. The storytelling is magnificent and I think I will need to reread one day.

I loved every minute of this book! That's pretty much it.
