Well, as you all can guess, I enjoyed this immensely. I can't believe i thought this would be an easy breezy light read. This book took me on an emotional journey: I laughed, I screamed out of frustration and anger, I teared up, I sneered in disgust, I gasped from shock, I gasped from terror. This was absolutely not the book I was expecting at all. Like, at all.
I thought this was going to be a cute yarn about housewives in a book club plotting to kill a vampire over sweet tea, but that's probably my own fault for not really reading much about it. Instead I picked it up because of the title and cover. Yep, I totally judge books by their covers.

The atmosphere was creepy and it was horrifying, but the characters' actions and the ending jarred with what we knew of them.
