What Members Thought

UGH! WHY????
Let me start this off by saying that I am not a "Twilight hater". You know, those people who love to hate twilight...even if they did secretly love it when they were teenagers. I am not one of them I swear, but wow was this book one of the most annoying things I have ever read.
First off, Edward is whiney AF and it bothers me that he seems to think he knows what is best for Bella...excuse me sir, she can think for herself thanks. Secondly, there was not enough "new" in this novel to ...more

the first half of this i definitely would’ve given 2 stars, but the ending was closer to 4 stars, so 3 it is!
i honestly almost made this my first DNF of 2021 and i would not have regretted it. still, i don’t think i would’ve missed out on much if i had chosen to do that. however, i pushed through and actually enjoyed bits of it.

I really enjoyed seeing more of Edward's family and their time together. Edward's abilities also make the book more interesting because you get to see another side of most characters. His actions in New Moon also make more sense now as we get to hear his thoughts and see more of Alice's visions. He also compares him and Bella to Hades and Persephone which I thought was interesting and now has me wanting to read more of that. It did drag a bit but at the same time, I was glad to see more of Edwar

I own this book.
I loved this book. This is exactly what I wanted Twilight to be and more. This book not only taught us more about Edward as a character, further than his weird obsession with Bella but it taught us about the family dynamics of the Cullens and how despite their weird make-up, they genuinely are a family. Esme Cullen deserves all of the rights to be honest, she is kind and loving and deserves the whole world.
I heard Meyer is potentially writing two new books, but I would selfis ...more

Garbage.
The ramblings of a narcissistic prepubescent 15 year old girl who sounds like a broken tape recorder.
Bright side- I love the narrator, his voice is like smooth scotch. Easy on the ears.
