What Members Thought
I didn't love the middle of this book (which is a big part of the story). But the pace picked up around the end and that's when I actually enjoyed this book. Interesting things started happening and I was fascinated by what was going on. It also ends on a dangerous cliffhanger and I'm hooked again. Now, most of the characters were annoying and going downhill but then I'm sure they'll get better in the next book. Zelie was getting on my nerves many times but I'm digging the romance with Roën? but

I must admit, I wasn't nearly as obsessed with this one as the first. I felt most of the characters did things that seemed ooc for them: Amari, Zelie, Inan. It was still a good story, but also not as fun and adventurous as the first. The twist ending seemed contrived. I'll still read the next one, but I feel disappointed that I waited this long and this is what I got.
