What Members Thought
I have NEVER been so happy to be done with a book until I read this one. This was the worst book I have ever in my life read. I thought The Hazel Wood was the worst book until I read this one. It's never taken me a month to read a book before. This books was a STRUGGLE to get through. The only reason I didn't DNF it was because Youtubers I respect said it was so good so I was holding out for the good parts.....OMG I will forever trust my gut on a book.

The author of The Night Circus has struck again and surprised me again! I am not a lover of fantasy. But perhaps this is less fantasy and more magical realism, which is something i am just generally more able to connect to.
Zachary Ezra Rawlins is a college student. And he loves to read. He finds a book in the university library that changes the trajectory of his life. This is a very nontraditional love story. And I loved it.

I loved the night circus but this was just not gripping me at all. The narrative was like a sea coming towards you leaving sprinkles in the sand but no real feel for what it had done. I only get to page 75 and it requires too much of something that i don't have to continue. I loved the night circus but this too fabulist with no backbone

The lush prose in this book is so delightful, I can't wait to be ready to read it again. The story intertwines so seamlessly you are drawn in immediately
The notion of the doors we are looking for, and whether they will open for you, is fascinating. The symbols, the mythos, the enveloping storytelling are all so lush.
I read this book , but then I found out there is a full-cast audiobook. Well now I need that, too !!!!
I would like to continue on with Zach's story, or all the stories in the Star ...more
