This is a reread but the first time I am putting my thoughts down on this one. I feel like reading them at this point in my life has a very different effect than when I was reading them before. This book just shows you what a government is willing to do to stamp down a rebellion. I really enjoyed all the characters. I wish there was a bit more of Effie but I think the point of this one was to make it all the more subdued and dark. I think that sober Haymitch is a lot easier to like even at the e ...more
