Katniss and Peeta are out of the Hunger Games and back to life in District 12. As their Victory Tour starts around the Districts, they begin to realise that their little stunt in the arena may be the cause of an uproar and a revival. Katniss tries her best to allow Peeta a normal life, as normal as life in Panem can be. But as they are called into the Hunger Games for the Quarter Quell, will this be possible? Or will the revivals get worse?

This book is the sequel to The Hunger Games which was a reread for me. I read The Hunger Games for the first time when I was in 8th grade and I decided with the new book coming out I should take this time to actually finish this series. I’m so glad that I continued in wanting to finish this series because it’s absolutely amazing! The action just gets started in the first book but, during Catching Fire the action really picks up! You become so much more attached to the main character Katniss and

This book was amazing. It was just as good as the first if not better.
From the beginning of this book I was hooked however it was when the Quarter Quell was announced that this book became amazing and I wasn't able to put it down. I am not ashamed to admit that yes I cried a couple of times while reading this book. I really wanted Katniss and Peetah to stop pretending and just tell each other how they really felt! Katniss loves Peetah and Peetah loves Katniss.

Another fantastic book by Suzanne Collins! Two books, one to go! THE HUNGER GAMES series is honestly thebomb.com. If you read my THE HUNGER GAMES (first book) review, then you know that I've watched the movies before the books. Now I used to think that was a crime, (reading a book before the movie) but IN THIS CASE I'm starting to think I like watching the movie before the book more- therefore I have more of an accurate visual.

It is really good. The movie did a good job keeping the story closely to the book. I'm glad I got to learn more about Haymitch's past.
I can see a sign that Katniss is falling for Peeta. It sucks that the ending didn't end on a happy note for them. I'm looking forward to start the final book of the trilogy. ...more
