4 stars. I do love me a good ambiguous ending and this one was done so well. I got a little teary eyed at the end and I finished this book so confused and yet I loved it.
The writing is fantastic. I love the way it’s set up with it being split between the podcast about Sadie being missing and then Sadie’s point of view. It was really well done. The plot is interesting and full of mystery and intrigue. There were some twists that I didn’t see coming and everything seemed to get crazier and crazie ...more

Maybe I should not only have read the blurb before reading, but I should have heeded it. It begins with this: A missing girl on a journey of revenge. A Serial―like podcast following the clues she's left behind. And an ending you won't be able to stop talking about. Funny, because that is where I felt like starting because OMG! What is this author, Courtney Summers, trying to do to her readers? This reader typically doesn't mind cliffhangers; however, this one is HUGE and there's no book 2? Ugh!!

This book has been one of those books that I have been eyeing for a while and always said I'll get to it and forget about it as my to be read list grows and grows. But I finally came back and decided to choose it as the read for my YA book club I'm running and what I read I did not expect.
First off this book was very hard to swallow. It covers a lot of heavy subjects such as domestic abuse, child pornography, child molestation, and rape so I will not go into a full summary to spare ...more

I enjoyed this book much more than I had expected! The style of the book originally threw me but I ended up liking the storyline so much that the podcast styling was kind of cool.
The story revolves around a missing girl, Sadie. Half of the book is the investigation and the other half is semi-flashbacks from Sadie’s point of view. I say semi because it feels like they are so close on her track that you feel like this could be resolved any page now!

I was very skeptical of this book when I began reading -- the "podcast" format was a bit off-putting for me at first, and I was unsure whether I could get past it. However, as soon as I dove into the story, which alternates between Sadie's perspective as she hunts for the person who killed her sister and the podcast which details searching for Sadie (who is now missing), I was hooked.

Aaaah love it love it love it. It's intriguing from the start and its so fun to place every piece of the story together. This book also had the most perfect ending for a mystery book.

I had never heard of this book before. I read it for a FB group. I struggled to get through it. I did not like the way it was read. It was read like an interview ( a podcast about a missing girl). I had had some people tell me it was better listen to.
The book is about a girl who goes looking for the person who killed her sister and ends up going missing herself. A man who runs a podcast about missing girls is contacted by the missing girls family member and he begins a search to find the missin ...more
