Uggghhh, what did I just read? I am so glad that I waited until all three books were out before reading this (I already have the third one and plan on starting it immediately). The Cruel Prince absolutely blew me away, and The Wicked King did the same thing. It’s a well written sequel with an amazing plot, the book keeps you at your toes the entire time! You never know what’s going to happen or who to trust, and just when you think you’ve figured it all out - another twist shocks you.

This series just progressively keeps getting better! I loved this book. It continues the story of Jude, now standing behind the King she crowned and practically running the kingdom herself. She is a force to be reckoned with, and I admire her tenacity and her fierce attitude. She is pretty much alone this entire book, and no one seems to be on her side, yet she forges on and still accomplishes so much.

This is even better from the first one. I mean don’t get me wrong but this book shows true colours of all the characters. Cardan and Jude are both giving hard time to each other. I am loving this battle between them.
