The books in this series are generally fun to read if one can suspend disbelief (cooking gourmet meals with a two-year old in the house?) and just enjoy the story. In this book, the murder didn't take place until about 75 pages in, and there is a lot of description of a Maine island and its inhabitants. The story of the old quilt was an added interest in this book. ...more
