I was asked, “What book did you read in one afternoon? “ Mariner’s Compass by author Earlene Fowler. I started reading and did not stop until a few hours later I was at the end, but wanting to read more! Mariner’s Compass is the 5th or 6th book in this series and one of the best, I thought.
