The Someday Quilts mysteries are fun reads. This, her 2nd in the series, has few editing errors than the first one, and that's a good thing!

Nell Fitzgerald, the main character, has moved to Archer's Rest and is living with her grandmother as well as working in her grandmother's quilt shop. She (of course) is dating the chief of police, and she (of course) can't keep her nose out of the sleuthing business. Very predictable storyline, but a plus is you don't know who the murderer is until the end

Really had to suspend disbelief for this one. Nell, a 25 year old who is dating the police chief conducts her own investigation of two murders in a small town. She way oversteps her bounds, zeros in on a suspect early and won’t let go. I don’t think there was any way I could have guessed who the killer actually was.
