I feel conflicted about this book; I had always loved the movie so I assumed I would feel the same about the book but unfortunately it was a bit of a let down.
Idk If I might have enjoyed the book better if I hadn't watched the movie before or not, because I did find myself comparing it often.
I felt the story to be choppy in telling, and kinda boring at times, it translated a lot better as a film. ...more

Shelves: remarkable, philosophical

Haah. Brutal. Anarkis. Sinting. Tapi keren ya. Tyler Durden itu karakter yang nggak bisa disukai tapi juga nggak bisa bener-bener dibenci. Idenya soal self-destruction, jujur aja kadang-kadang saya sendiri pun kepikiran, tapi saya nggak suka begitu dia mulai playing messiah.

Tapi overall paling suka sama plot twist psikologisnya. Keren. Agak sayang terjemahannya kurang smooth, tapi tetep bersyukur banget ternyata ada yang nerjemahin novel ini. :D
