So that was a wild ride!
Rhys and Feyre's flirting was amazing. That was favorite part of the book. The new side characters were perfect. They were unexpected and a nice surprise. However, I did really miss Lucien throughout the book. Tamlin all I will say is I called it and he deserved it. Rhysand is a wonderful, mysterious, and complex character. And I LOVE wonderful, mysterious, and complex characters.

Now this review is going to be all over the place, because I'm just going to t

So, before you jump to conclusions. I read this book twice...yes, twice. The first time I speed through this book, and I didn't really remember much of what happened in this book. So I went back and reread it. Man, it didn't hold up the second time.

I really hate SJM's writing style. It's overly verbose, repetitive, and just tonally a mess.

SJM is so heavy handed in how she constructs her plots. This whole point of this book is to get readers to like rhysand. It's like SJM forces these things on

HOLY BAT SHIT CRAZY SARAH J MAAS FEELS!
I thought my heart was going to explode multiple times during this book.

This sequel did leaps and bounds for me. I wasn't the biggest fan of book one. I had some issues with Feyre's demeanor being so timid and frail and I hated Tamlin SOOOOO book two sold me with this series because we finally see Tamlin's true colors and it is not pretty. Feyre's attitude takes a complete 360 turn and she's this powerful, demanding strong woman who doesn't take shit from

This book made me feel everything. I fell in love, developed a hatred for someone I thought I knew, I felt loss, I felt hope, and anticipation. I loved every moment of it

Taking the time to write my "review". Like I said before, I'm now officially Feysand trash.

I definitely didn't expect to love this book as much as I did, since I had conflicting feelings about ACOTAR, even though EVERYBODY said that ACOMAF was so much better. And they were right.
Though, I mean, technically, this book isn't even that good. It's not the highlight of YA literature in the sense that it's well written. It's compulsive and addicting, yes, but the writing itself isn't all t

Second time reading:
This still holds up as my favorite book I've ever read. There are so many reasons I love. And I know its flawed and I know some people think it's problematic. You can go ahead and hate me for loving it if you want. But this book never fails to bring a smile to my face and give me all of the warm fuzzy feelings which I truly haven't felt for a really long time. I feel such a deep connection to these characters and such a strong love for them. I can't remember feeling this way

Overall I really enjoyed this. It was a vast improvement from A Court of Thorns and Roses and it in no way suffered from second book syndrome. It built and expanded upon the first instalment and had some decent world-building and character development. That being said, I still found myself having one or two issues with the book. But I'll start with the good.

The world-building was wonderful. Maas is very good at making places and settings come to life. I love how she focused more on the histories

I honestly have no idea how to rate this book. The first half of it was slow and tbh I wasn't that invested in the story. I have had issues with 2nd installments in series lately, I was almost convinced it'd be the case with this one too.
Man, was I wrong. Things got more and more exciting and I started to care about the every character so much. Especially once their back stories are unveiled.
So an extra .5 star for having me want the 3rd book in my possession before I even finished t
