If all of SJMs other books didn’t exist and ACOTAR didn’t exist, ACOMAF would be 5 stars for me. But between some obvious issues I have with SJMs writing, and the lack of transition in a lot of things between ACOTAR and ACOMAF, it’s more realistically a 4 star book. But in my heart, and on its own, it is 5.
Very detailed review and discussion to come on my channel next week!
Edit: on re-read in 2017, I bumped it up to 5 stars. It's always been 5 stars in my heart. ...more

God this book! My heart was racing and adrenaline pumping even though I knew what was happening! Feeling all the feels and I am counting down the hours until ACOWAR is released 😬

3.5 stars? Possibly...
Again, SJ Maas leaves me just feeling meh. I didn't hate not love this books. There were more characters I enjoyed this time around, but for a book that is so long, things felt rushed. I feel like certain things were rushed and not described clearly. I can vaguely imagine the world and its characters.
Everything thing felt slightly too convenient in this. I couldn't really find a true struggle for the characters other than Feyre not being able to paint..?? However, I do thi ...more

Oh my. This second book in the ACOTAR series was EPIC. I honestly can't believe the release date for the third book, A Court of Wings and Ruin is so close... yet it feels such a long way away. I NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT DAMMIT. I have honestly never felt this impatient. How can I read anything else?
Anyway... I was well aware of literally EVERYBODY saying that this book was miles better and in a completely different league compared to the first. Well, I loved A Co ...more

A masterpiece.
Honestly the best book I've ever read, and I don't say that lightly. A huge step up from the first book. ...more

Holy God! This book was EVERYTHING!!! Once again, Sarah J Maas did not do at all what I thought was going to happen (which is a good thing) and it blew me away! Brilliant! I loved every second of this book and I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT ONE! I NEED IT NOW!! I fell in love with the characters (especially Rhys)! I live for Sarah J Maas' strong female characters! Yes! I really enjoyed it!

I liked this book and story so much more once Feyre was with Rhys and though I'm intrigued about the story about what happens next I'm a little hesitant to continue it because SJM and I don't have a good history. I'll probably check it out but who knows
