Absolutely breathtaking. This is an account of the columbine shootings which is at once reverent to the victims and their families, while also unflinching in its portrayal of the events before, during and after. I didn't tear up until the very end. Instead, I felt compelled to listen soberly to everything being said, because the conclusions being drawn and the evidence being shown were so very important.

I wish more people would read the facts about the tragedy at Columbine. The persistent misperceptions about Eric and Dylan and their motivations still haunt mainstream media and conversations about school shootings and white male violence. This book does a great job debunking the lore of the shooters and the other inaccurate stories, news reports and memories of that day.
