This was an amazing book. I had it on my shelf for months, the worst part is that I bought all three of them, but never had the time to actually read them. Because this was the winner for the Read Along of my group, I actually decided to read it, and guess what, I did, and guess what, I Looooovvvveeeedddd it too!!!!!

i enjoyed it so much ,the world building was very well developed,
i loved how it was based on Russian folklore that was interesting i've never read something about russian folklore and myths before .
the only problem was the romance, i didn't like it AT ALL,i think this book would've been a lot better without the romance in it ,especially the cheesy love triangle thing that is CLEARLY building up, maybe the reason that i don't like Alina that much, i don't know i can't really judge now since it's ...more

I loved it! It was a little bit slow in some parts, but i liked those parts too. Every book need his explication. I think the story is very original and, although it was a little bit confusing at the beginning, you get used to the whole "grisha thing" very quickly... I need the second book now!!!!
