I rarely read a series back to back. I don't want to get burned out on the characters or storyline. But there is just something in the way Cat Porter writes that sucks me in. I am emotionally invested in these characters. I love them, I feel as though I understand their very souls. I am blown away by these two books. you must read Lock & Key before you read this book, even though the first half of this book is actually a prequel. it sounds strange and confusing but it was genius.

What a great read! I enjoyed Dig's in depth version to his and Grace's story, it really filled some of the gaps. This took up a little more then the first 60% of this book. Then it picks up where Lock & Key left off....for the most part.
I am really excited about there being a 3rd installment to the series Iron & Bone. I hope Grace and Miller truly get their HEA, would like to see Boner get one too! ...more

Unexpectedly Beautiful and Moving
I read Lock and Key and enjoyed it. So I immediately bought Random and Rare because I wanted more of Grace, Dig, Miller and their story. And I wasn't disappointed, I LOVED this book. I think even more than Lock and Key. It was emotional and beautiful, I felt invested in these characters. The first half of this book from Dig's prospective made me fall for him. Cat Porter has definitely become an instant favorite for me!
Loved this book...It is a must read. Read Lock and Key First
