2 stars.
Having read a lot more within the genre, this was just underwhelming and at times poorly crafted.
I can definitely see this the author’s first book.
So many people have been pestering me to continue with this series that I finally decided to do it.
All in all, kind of a disappointing read. I seriously hope it really gets better.

OMG I LOVED THIS BOOK SO FREAKING MUCH!!! I never thought I would like it this much, honestly. Most of the times it takes some pages for me to get really into a book, but with Throne of Glass it happened on the very first page. I don't remember liking a book this much from the beginning!

This story is amazing, Erilea seems beautiful and the characters are so so so good! Celaena is one of the strongest characters I have ever read about and also one of my favorites. Her personality is great and she

Continuo a preferir aquela capa castanha que é super badass, mas desde que tragam esta série para Portugal e desde que eu a possa ler, por mim tudo bem!

I won’t lie. When I first read the synopsis I did the thing a fangirl must not do. I compared it to The Hunger Games. More specifically I said to myself “What is this? The Hunger Games/The Selection crossover?” Well, if you haven’t read this book yet and think the same let me tell you: You, my friend, are so wrong I can’t even describe. Of course there are some similarities, but we can find similarities in almost every book.
In my opinion this book was really amazing, maybe one of my all time fa

4.5 STARS!
As I was finishing the book, I was wondering how to score it, then I decided to give it 4.5 because:
It's a great plot with outstanding characters and the world building is delightful. THIS is a beautiful example of a fantasy book, though I haven't read that many to say that. The reason I didn't score this high fantasy action packed book 5 stars it's because I felt it missed something, though I'm sure the second book will blow my mind!!!!

I love this book from the very beginning to the very end. It had everything that I like a strong heroine with unique characteristics that made me like her even more. It had action with intense situations, a little bit of romance, humor and well rounded characters. Easy to follow, well written work. LOVE IT

I was really excited to start this one and it definitely didn't let me down!
A kick ass heroine, a love triangle that's actually credible, characters who like to read, plot twists, magic and competition are just some of the ingredients that make this a great book.
The only thing that prevents me from giving it 5* is the world building, which could have been further developed and explained (view spoiler), although I understand this
