S.L. Scott has crafted a heart-stopping exquisite story that completely blew me away. Force of Nature is a suspenseful, thrilling, sexy and romantic love story.

From the moment Bennett and Winter meet there are twists and turns and angst in their story. Their chemistry is undeniable and just pours out of the pages. I loved how one minute their relationship was fun and flirty with quick-witted banter and then the next breath it was intensely sensual and sexy.

Truth and lies…that’s what everything in life always seems to come down to and what every human being seems to struggle with when it comes to who deserves the story of their life and who only gets the insignificant parts.

Winter Nobleman is a woman with an unkind past - one that has defined her for far too long…one that seems to keep taking regardless of how little Winter has left to give. Her eyes carry secrets behind them, but it’s unclear what her true story is because she’s not ready to give Truth and lies…that’s what everything in life always seems to come down to and what every human being seems to struggle with when it comes to who deserves the story of their life and who only gets the insignificant parts.

Winter Nobleman is a woman with an unkind past - one that has defined her for far too long…one that seems to keep taking regardless of how little Winter has left to give. Her eyes carry secrets behind them, but it’s unclear what her true story is because she’s not ready to give it; it’s the one thing that she still has some control over, which means readers and even Bennett Everest will have to wait for Winter’s truths to be unraveled.

S.L. Scott has created some of my favorite alpha heroes, but I just might have found one to uproot all of them - Bennett Everest. He may be the youngest of the brothers, but he understands what matters in life, and his protective nature easily draws people in. But when it comes to Winter and what he’s been tasked to do, what appears to be and what actually is changes things for Bennett, complicating the mission, but also allowing him to see what’s truly important in life and in love.

Winter and Bennett are forces of nature - hellbent on making their own ways. That’s part of what draws them to each other but it’s also what makes things difficult for both of them. And as their story continues, Scott leads them and readers down a dangerous yet seductive path and the twists and turns that the plot line takes is what allows the unexpected to occur, keeping readers guessing as well as riveted to the pages as the mystery unfolds, heading toward its resolution.

Paris is the perfect city for Winter and Bennett’s story; it’s romantic, intriguing, majestic, and its air of mystery adds to the suspense that is strewn throughout the story line. In its own right, the City of Lights is a pivotal character in Force of Nature and the role it plays lives up to every single aspect of this beautiful and enlightening environment.

As an English teacher, I revel in scenes where witty banter and seamless dialogue is created; there’s just something about an author’s ability to blend and deliver snark, sweet, and steam effortlessly that makes my appreciation for the story and its creator that much richer, and I can wholeheartedly say that that’s exactly what S.L. Scott accomplished in Winter and Bennett’s story.

Bennett Everest has a job to do. But working with family can be challenging at times. Winter Nobleman just wants a little recognition from someone important to her. It’s too bad that they seem to be blind when it comes to her.

This book doesn’t say it is part of a series but as you get to know Bennett’s brothers you’ll wonder what their story could be about. If you read to the end of this book, the author will give you the titles you will need. Good for me, I’ve already read Hutton’s story. Bad f ...more

I love S.L. Scott’s books so I was kinda disappointed in this one. I didn’t read the other two but that’s ok they are all interconnecting stand alones.
Bennett is amazing he goes above and beyond for someone he never met. Winter became a mission and more to him. He is a sweet mega rich alpha male who literally almost gives up his life for her. She isn’t very nice to him the connection isn’t really there.
She try’s to run form him every chance she gets and then cry’s about how much she loves him ...more

Loved it!!

Loved Winter and Bennett's story which was a sexy romance wrapped up in a nice suspense. Great characters and an excellent story made this a great read. It hooked me and now I have to go back and read the previous books. Recommended read ...more
