I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we find out more about John "Cruise" Cristley and we are introduced to Clara. Cruise is lost and doesn't know what exactly he wants. He knows that wants what King and Sara Jane have the problem with that though is he has no clue how to go about it. Cruise doesn't know what it is about Clara but he knows that she makes him feel things he never has in the past. Can they both find a HEA or is

Cruise is everything thing I thought and more in Sacred. We've been giving glimpses of Cruise in previous S.L. Scotts Kingwood Duet books and we even got a little of him in Solace. He of course remained a bit of a mystery. I love love Cruise. Seriously now finally getting to know his back ground and finding his Dove in Clara how can you not fall in love with him. Clara is one strong lady. For what she went through so young I admire how she pulled through it all. I love seeing the changes in Crui ...more

Again S.L. Scott has poured her heart and soul into a book that has gone beyond all my expectations. SACRED follows on from the The Kingwood Duet where we first meet Cruise Cristley, the quiet brooding bad boy with a story of his own.

Cruise and Clara’s story is emotional and heartfelt. Both with pasts that they desperately try not to let define them or let the demons consume them. Although from completely different upbringings, their connection is instant and is brought to life in a dramatic an

What an awesome story!!!!

Sacred has been such a long awaited read by SL Scott. I have loved Cruise ever since we met him in the book Savage. Let me tell you the author does not disappoint with his story. I loved how we fell in love with a character and go through the emotions that he or she is going through. Clara and Cruise have such a drama in the past and learning to get over it. We see how the two of them help each other. Once I started reading this book I was not able to put it down. I tota

I received this book as an ARC in return for an honest review. This book is beautifully written, gives you so many emotions. Cruise and Clara meet one day at the school his mother teaches at but Clara won't give him her name. When they run into each other again her defenses are down more because she's been drinking. Cruise has never been one for relationships but can't seem to stop himself with her. When they start sharing their stories will they find love or will it all be too much? ...more

So we met Cruise in the Kingwood Duet (which I also highly recommend). I was waiting to see if he would get a story and I wasn’t disappointed. This can be read as a standalone!

Cruise finally gets his story! We first met Cruise in the Kingswood duet. He was Alexander "King" Kingswood's best friend and brother of the heart! Cruise is loyal and has gone through so much to help Alex and we see the type of person that Cruise is. You don't have to read the Kingswood duet to read Cruise's story but you get to see some of his hotness in the duet and plenty more in Sacred.

It's a year after Cruise and Alex have been rescued after their kidnapping and Cruise is still trying to d

S.L. Scott has done it again! She has written another great story. Her words come together to create magic on the pages. This story can certainly be read as a stand alone but I also recommend her other stories where you first meet Cruise which are Savage, and Savior which are from the Kingwood Duet. Cruise is so loyal but mysterious in those stories that you are just dying to know his story, which is well told in Sacred. I have read several of Suzie's books and they just keep getting better and ...more

His Yellow. His Dove.......Her Savior. Her Heaven.

This book, wow.............this book was absolutely phenomenal!! Ms. Scott is an amazing and talented author, which shows in each book she writes. Getting to know the mysterious Cruise was just as fabulous as I thought it would be, and learning about Clara’s past took my breath away. My emotions took a beating during their story, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Fan-freaking-tastic book and a MUST READ!!!!!!!!

Excellent

Excellent read. Loved these characters. Two people from seriously flawed families trying to live their lives and find a little happy. Cruise and Clara are great together and it's amazing what a small world they find themselves in.
