Fun forbidden/secret romance. Book two of the Crow Brothers series follows Tulsa (the youngest of the three brothers.) He isn't a stranger to women. They love him. He loves them, though never enough to settle down with. He is having too much fun playing the field. Until he meets Nikki, that is. Nikki and her band are the opening act for his band on the tour. The moment he sets eyes on the lead singer, he knows he's in trouble. There's a little back and forth between them before she finally lets Fun forbidden/secret romance. Unfortunately her brother and cousin are also in the band, and are overly protective of her, after a horrific incident involving her ex. Tulsa and Nikki decide to keep their relationship a secret until after the tour, as they don't want to screw up their opportunity.

This series is a spin off from The Hard to Resist series. The Resistance (a highly popular rock band... in case you are unfamiliar,) plays a small role in this series, but you do not need to read it to follow. Nor do you need to read book one of this series, Spark, prior to reading this one. Though, if you intend to read the complete series, I would highly suggest reading in order to avoid spoilers. Each book features a different Crow brother and their pursuit to find love. You really get to know the brothers more as the series progresses and in this book, we're giving a little more insight into the third brother, Rivers, life and a hint about what his book might be about.

The characters are relatable and lovable. They are also complex enough to keep them interesting. While the side characters are just as great, no on really steals the show. Tulsa is pretty much the star with all his swoonworthiness. ;)

In addition to the romance, there is some mystery in the sense of what happened to Nikki in her past. I liked that while we don't get the full story until closer to the end of the book, more is revealed early on. We aren't kept in the dark entirely, (which is often the case.) There is also a little suspense. There is some humor so it isn't totally deep and dark. It's not too light-hearted though. And even balance. Of course, there is some steam. It isn't overly graphic but enough to be rated R.

In summary... this is a great 'rediscovering yourself' type of romance. Wonderfully written. (Alternating POVs.) It reads easily and smoothly.

The strength and bravery of these characters and their story blew me away. Both Tulsa and Nikki were beautifully created and I couldn’t get enough of them or their journey. The story was full of passion and romance, and my emotions took an amazing roller coaster ride. I actually felt the pain and joy of each character.

The writing of this extremely talented author is phenomenal. If you haven’t read any of her books, I highly recommend you correct that right away.

Another winning performance by SL Scott.
Tulsa is everything I knew it would be and more. Hot rockers are definitely her jam and playing to the beat of The Crow Brothers will always get a standing ovation.

Always the author of Romance SL Scott hasn’t disappointed with this book. Tulsa will leave your panties in a twist and your mind realing from his sexy cocky nature. I’ve read many S.L Scott books but Tulsa is my favorite! Tulsa is single and more than willing to love the ladies and he’s not looking to settle down. Tulsa is in a band with his brothers. They are opening act on the tour and have released album since being signed to record label. The other group on tour Ferris Wheel also a group made up of family members. The rumors are true. At least where I am concerned. Drummers hit it harder and do it better. Woman love me and I love them. But I like to think of myself as a sensitive soul trapped in a lady-killer's body. Not so surprisingly, I've been called cocky a time or two. What can I say? We can't all be boy scouts. I am not going to blow it getting sidetracked by a cocky rock star that wants to sleep his way through the states. I've been called a name or two, but easy isn't one of them. But the best intentions with him turn into a walk of shame for me. Only, I don't feel shame. Instead, I am doing the very thing I said I wouldn't -falling for a playboy. We make sinful music when we are on the road, but what happens to our melody when the tour ends?

Get ready to fall so in love with Tulsa you will never forget his cocky playboy self. He and his brothers have a album sitting on the top of the charts and are starting to realize that their dreams are finally coming true. They are about to go on their first nationwide tour opening for the the worlds most famous band Resistance and they have been signed by Outlaw Records. Life is good. However his world is about to get rocked even more when he meets Nikki Feris the member of another band on The Resistance tour with them. Trust me this girl has trust issues right along with being determined to not fall for Tulas's man whoring ways. I loved watching these two genuinely to fall for each other. Tulsa is Book 2 in the story of the Crow Brothers. You will be sucked into the world that is Tulsa and Nikki. This is a story of how a playboy is brought down by a sassy mother strong willed woman. What a great book. *SWOON*overload (if that's even possible) Tulsa is probably one of my favorite characters thus far. He is sexy, sweet, honorable, kind, loveable and soooo boopable!! He treats Nikki like a "Queen". He really shows her a lot of respect. I really enjoyed Nikki's character as well. Although she has had a tough past she is not a "amsel in distress" She doesn't need to be taken care but, wants to be loved and respected. Another great one

This is Tulsa’s story, the playboy, the youngest Crow brother and the one you’d thought would never settle with one woman. That is until he meets Nikki Feris, lead singer of the band Feris Wheel. Nikki has been dramatically hurt in the past and she knows all the plays a playboy makes but with Tulsa, she sees what’s below the surface and so does he, it makes them explosive together!!

I love the Crow Brothers and Tulsa did not disappoint. A fun sexy read with lots of heart and love. I love that the Resistance make appearances and I love seeing how Jet’s life is working out as well. Nikki is a strong character as well who has overcome some hardships in life to find her happy place. Enjoy the ride.
