Fun forbidden/secret romance. Book two of the Crow Brothers series follows Tulsa (the youngest of the three brothers.) He isn't a stranger to women. They love him. He loves them, though never enough to settle down with. He is having too much fun playing the field. Until he meets Nikki, that is. Nikki and her band are the opening act for his band on the tour. The moment he sets eyes on the lead singer, he knows he's in trouble. There's a little back and forth between them before she finally lets Fun forbidden/secret romance. Book two of the Crow Brothers series follows Tulsa (the youngest of the three brothers.) He isn't a stranger to women. They love him. He loves them, though never enough to settle down with. He is having too much fun playing the field. Until he meets Nikki, that is. Nikki and her band are the opening act for his band on the tour. The moment he sets eyes on the lead singer, he knows he's in trouble. There's a little back and forth between them before she finally lets her guard down and allows him in. Unfortunately her brother and cousin are also in the band, and are overly protective of her, after a horrific incident involving her ex. Tulsa and Nikki decide to keep their relationship a secret until after the tour, as they don't want to screw up their opportunity.

This series is a spin off from The Hard to Resist series. The Resistance (a highly popular rock band... in case you are unfamiliar,) plays a small role in this series, but you do not need to read it to follow. Nor do you need to read book one of this series, Spark, prior to reading this one. Though, if you intend to read the complete series, I would highly suggest reading in order to avoid spoilers. Each book features a different Crow brother and their pursuit to find love. You really get to know the brothers more as the series progresses and in this book, we're giving a little more insight into the third brother, Rivers, life and a hint about what his book might be about.

The characters are relatable and lovable. They are also complex enough to keep them interesting. While the side characters are just as great, no on really steals the show. Tulsa is pretty much the star with all his swoonworthiness. ;)

In addition to the romance, there is some mystery in the sense of what happened to Nikki in her past. I liked that while we don't get the full story until closer to the end of the book, more is revealed early on. We aren't kept in the dark entirely, (which is often the case.) There is also a little suspense. There is some humor so it isn't totally deep and dark. It's not too light-hearted though. And even balance. Of course, there is some steam. It isn't overly graphic but enough to be rated R.

In summary... this is a great 'rediscovering yourself' type of romance. Wonderfully written. (Alternating POVs.) It reads easily and smoothly.

The strength and bravery of these characters and their story blew me away. Both Tulsa and Nikki were beautifully created and I couldn’t get enough of them or their journey. The story was full of passion and romance, and my emotions took an amazing roller coaster ride. I actually felt the pain and joy of each character.

The writing of this extremely talented author is phenomenal. If you haven’t read any of her books, I highly recommend you correct that right away.

I’ve read many S.L Scott books but Tulsa is my favorite! Tulsa is single and more than willing to love the ladies and he’s not looking to settle down. Tulsa is in a band with his brothers. They are opening act on the tour and have released album since being signed to record label. The other group on tour Ferris Wheel also a group made up of family members. This is my new favorite! I absolutely loved it! This was so good and Tulsa so hot! This story definitely grabbed me! I was seriously enthralled with Tulsa and Nikki. SL Scott knows how to keep you captivated by her words. First with Jet now with his younger Tulsa. Tulsa is book 2 in The Crows Brother series, but is a complete standalone.

Nikki, is the lead singer of Faris Wheel She's sexy, and extremely talented. She has some baggage, but she definitely doesn't need saved. She's strong, resilient, smart, and beautiful.

This book is such a fun, funny, romantic and steamy read! Tulsa and Nikki are just the best couple because they don't put up with each other's shit and are able to see through all the walls that each put up for the world.

Nikki is the singer in the group Feris Wheel. She, her twin brother Laird and cousin Shane make up the group and they are getting their big break being one of the opening acts for The Resistance. They had also released their first album right before the concert tour and the album has been a big hit. Tulsa is a playboy and he is not afraid to admit it. He enjoys women but also make sure that each woman know what to expect and/or not expect from him.

Nikki and Tulsa meets for the first time at the first concert that they are playing at and it was attraction at first sight. Nikki misjudges who Tulsa really is though and as they spend time together, she notices that Tulsa is not only a very hot guy but is very genuine about who he is. Nikki also realizes that Tulsa see her for who she is and not the music star that the world sees and feels that she can be herself with him. Tulsa never thought he would want to be involved in a relationship or have anything more than a one night stand but being with Nikki brings out feelings in him that he never thought he would have.

Nikki and Tulsa together is so hot and their chemistry is off the charts. They must decide what they want for their future and once the concert tour is over what will happen to them. Their pasts come back to haunt them and they must find a way to get through it and be there for each other.

We met Tulsa in Spark when we read about his oldest brother Jet and knew that Tulsa was the playboy of the three brothers. I can't wait to read about Rivers story next because the Crow Brothers are some exceptionally hot guys who get the meaning of family and standing by each other and the ones that they love!

What an amazing book! S.L.Scott is fast becoming my new favourite author. She always manages to produce books that have the perfect blend of heartwarming and emotional stories interspersed with hot and steamy love scenes. Along with well developed characters, witty and funny dialogue and some unexpected twists and turns this was the perfect read.

Tulsa is cockh6, sexy and a seriously bad a $$ drummer. Ready to hit the road on their first stadium tour, Tulsa is determined to party his way across the USA. I enjoyed Tulsa and Nikki’s story. It was engrossing and heart melting. A story full of emotion and charm. I didn’t read the first book but now I really want to. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good Rockstar romance.
