Second Chance love at its finest!
The Rebellion is an awesome book written by SL Scott. I would say this is a second chance romance. We meet Jaymes and Derrick. They were childhood sweethearts that for life's unfortunate timing were torn apart. Derrick becomes a rock sensation and Jaymes becomes a single mom barely making ends meat. I wasn't sure what Derrick Masters was all about..he seemed haunted by a past that I did not see coming! Derrick is fabulous. He has fought and sacrificed so much to get where is now. But was it worth leaving love behind?

In love with The Rebellion
I think this is my favorite book in the series. James is a perfect edition to the Resistance women. She is very lovable. I really liked her character and how she protected her son and Mother. Derrick is question worthy. I'm so blessed to have found this series and the fantastic author SL Scott! Thank you for another amazing read. Can't wait to see what's next for The Resistance family! ...more
