Fun read

This was a lot of fun and very easy to read. Love the off-beat characters and storytelling. Count Olaf is a ghoul! Would recommend it to young readers, for sure. Can’t wait to start reading book #2!

Shelves: a-bit-too-dark-for-kids

This book is really exciting and full of twists and turns, but is very dark and scary, revolving around themes such as child abuse and murder. I would recommend it to ages 13 and above, because younger children might find it too depressing. The books get better as the series goes on, so don’t give up if you didn’t like the first one. I really feel for the main characters, especially Violet, the eldest. I won’t give away too much of the plot, just read it now!!! This book is amazing!!!!!!

Shelves: favorites, ya-middle-grade

Este libro me cautivó desde el inicio, siempre lo quise leer desde que era pequeña y apenas lo vi en una tienda lo compré enseguida. Pece a ya no ser una niña disfruté mucho leyéndolo, me encanta la narración, el humor negro y la trama en sí me parece genial.

One of the best children’s series out there. Loved this book and I can’t wait to read the second one. I love the whole mysterious vibes this book gives off. So much foreshadowing, which I love very much.
