I have a very cursory knowledge of the bible and that probably hurt my understanding of much of the humor in this book. Still had some great parts to it - I wish there was more material with Biff in modern times but understand that's not really the point of this book.

Christopher Moore is one of those authors I find myself returning to when I'm feeling particularly snarky. For yea and verily do smartass attitudes and Moore books go hand in hand.
