A very unique book surprisingly grounded for Mieville.
I almost feel like there is a bit of a bait and switch going on here. Hearing about this book and having read some Mieville I expected this to be very "out there" and abstract. Instead I found a very grounded book, that you could argue is a straight up detective novel without any real science fiction elements.

Not sure what to think about this book, It's definitely different from everything else I've read of his work. I still need to think about it, which I suppose is a good thing.
