This was a strange interesting little book. I stumbled upon the author by accident and I just decided to buy one of her books because I like her name.

I read this while I was in the hospital waiting for my dad to come out of surgery. It definitely helped me to stay distracted and sane. On the back of the book a review says that this book is a mix between Catcher in the Rye and My So Called life- I would have to say that is a pretty accurate description. It's got that teen angsty self discovery feel- but with a queer twist.

This book is fun to read. Rose's adventures are my adventures. I like the love / hate dynamic with the characters and I identify with the feeling of being a teenager and being stuck in life and also how sex seems like such a big deal, even to teenage lesbians.
