This was surprisingly-effective, moving and heartfelt. There is much worthwhile in here on life and family of all kinds, connections, relationships and dating. I love that stories like this exist for younger LGBTQ people, especially.

[audio book] By the halfway point I was reluctant to leave my car after arriving at work or home because I wanted to stay with this story. The last moment is a note perfectly struck. Lovely.

This novel had me contemplating about death and the fear of it repeatedly for three days straight. I am not a emotional reader but I definitely found it to be heartbreaking. I might have shed a tear or two. I can’t help it I was rooting for those two young men. This is a good sad read 🥺
