What Members Thought

It’s hard to say books that make you feel painfully lonely are really good, but such is Stone Butch Blues. The rape, abuse, outcasting, ignorance, confusion, ay yi yi. The book was simple, following the fictional life (possibly loosely based on author Leslie Feinberg’s life?) of a trans person, who started first as a butch lesbian, then as a passing man on T, then as a person who disregards labels.

Good, heart-wrenching story. Feinberg's writing style didn't sit as well with me as other me memoirs I've read though.
