Great book. There was enough foreshadowing to make you go "what the heck?" Then enough predictability to make you think you know exactly how it's going to end. Then enough plot twist to make you go "wow, that was a great book!"

This is the story of a girl who starts seeing demons and shadowhunters or "demon hunters" without knowing why this is happening, then her mom gets kidnapped and a lot of secrets from her background are discovered after that. It is a very good book, I would recommended to anyone who likes a little of action and suspense. Once you start reading you won't stop until you finish the whole book. Can't wait to start reading the second part of the mortal instruments.
