I really enjoyed the Lonely Londoners. It was difficult to put down ... primarily because it didn’t have any chapters to take a natural stop at.
However as someone born in West London there was something familiar about it.
I’m surprised Selvon was not more well known considering his contemporaries includes Chinua Achebe, JD Salinger, Ralph Ellison and Ray Bradbury
Would definitely recommend.
