I miss a lot of Raffe and Penryn scenes, but hopefully, the third book can make up for that after this ending. This book wasn't as eventful as the first book, but it was still entertaining. Got some insight into Penryn's relationship with her mother which was challenging. Then discovering how poorly Paige has been damaged was disheartening.
