Fantastic! Bawling my eyes out and loving every sappy minute of it. Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors and his stories never fail to fill my heart with love! Love the setting, love Gabby and Travis, both very strong and independent characters drawn together by true love.
Nicholas Sparks has a way of writing books like no other author I've read so far. When I first started reading this book, all I can reallly think about was, ok, what choice?? what choice?? But it's all because I was so impatient. When I got to the 2nd part of the story, I understood and it just broke my heart as to why there was a choice. This book literally moved me to make me think of life and the choices we have, especially my choices.

I really enjoyed this book. It's the second Nicholas Sparks book that I've read, and I found it actually similar to the first. I still really enjoy his writing style, but this story seemed to be lacking much of a plot. It did have a happy ending, which I was greatful for; but the story could be summarized in only a few pages, and it was kind of 'gloomy' for at least half of it.
