This has to be one of my least favourite novels by Nicholas Sparks. I was disappointed in the very, very slow beginning and the fact that the story itself was, for lack of a better word: choppy. The novel reached it's peak close to the end of the novel which I was disappointed in because most of his novels have me hooked right at the beginning. My all time favorite of Nicholas Sparks. A friend had let me borrow the book and I was hooked! This was the first book I read of Nicholas Sparks books. I have to say it was a wonderful book to start out with! But I LOVED this book and will give it five stars.
I really liked this book because it taught me that in all relationships we always have to take a risk, nothing is for granted, all relationships are complicated in some way or another. We just have to be brave, take the risk and see how it turns out.
