I read this book awhile ago then re-read it before I went to see the movie. The setting and story lines were the same, as per usual in Spark's books made into a movie. However, the chemistry between the two main characters seemed so different. In the book the love seemed so strong and seemed like it was days upon days that they were together. But in the movie the love part seemed so fast and barely there. The book alone was a good read, a different approach for this author, i thought. He normall
