Update: Finished on the train this morning! It was sweet, and I really appreciated the message that Sparks was trying to send (you'll know what I mean if you've read it but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't!). I feel like I've always understood what he's been saying in the past but this time I feel like it meant something a little more. I really think the book was very short and the story seemed almost rushed but then at the end they kinda dragged it on when there was really no need

This is an amazing love story.
To find our ONE true love is something that very few have been blessed with. I related to this story on many levels and fell in love with the characters.
Nicholas Sparks does know how to tell a great story!

This story was reminiscent to the Bridges of Madison County. I loved it! Be on the look out for the movie this fall featuring Richard Gear and Diane Lane! I can't wait! I will probably re-read or listen to the book before I see the movie or after, to refresh my memory.
