I never regretted buying and reading the book, it was an amazing masterpiece with a mixture of so many emotions that Sparks sew into a memorable read...
Not to mention the carousel-like experience when I read it, gripping to it and wishing for a good ending, the whirlwind of possibilities (will it have a happy ending or not?) and the overwhelming feeling when -unlike most of his books- it indeed has a happy ending. In The Rescue Nicholas Sparks continues his tradition of roller coaster rides through emotions. I like this book, because a lot of things happen, and then the person it happens to ends up blaming themselves. I had a friend whose dad drowned and I can relate closely with the story. I love this book and people should read it.
