What Members Thought
Being that this is a sequel to The Notebook, for me it was a must-read. I enjoyed revisting Noah and he is the most interesting aspect of this book although he is a supporting character. The story itself is cute, but not a tear jerker like most Sparks novels. I found it interesting though to hear a story of someone trying to bring the magic back into his 30 year marriage (knowing that he fell short as a husband through all those years). Great novel...typical Nicholas Sparks and I tried really hard NOT to cry...oh well, it was really that moving. He has a way of pulling me into the characters as if they are part of my family. The dynamics within and without what was happening were interesting and I was totally surprised and happy at the ending! Way to go Nicholas...(-:
I am a sucker for anything Nicholas Sparks. I read this while I was engaged to be married and it made me want to walk down that aisle even more!
The Wedding is the second best book written by Nicholas Sparks (first being The Notebook). We all get to re-live Noah and Allie's love story.
