I liked this book a lot, just like all the other books written by Sparks. I am a fan of his writing style. But I still feel that the movie was probably slightly better (especially the telescope part in the movie which is not present in the book). Many scenes differed from the movie. I need to watch it again. I already knew the story and that might be the reason why I did not cry reading this book.
