This Nicolas Sparks book runs very true to his witting style and that is why I chose to not read the summary of this story before I finished the book. I will not go into detail, but It seemed that the author took other parts of his novels and combined them for this story. It reminded me a lot of the Notebook and Dear John. However, this book also felt like a new story and I really did like it. I also saw the movie right after I read it I was really looking forward to it. It did not disappoint me

A very touching story. Nicholas Sparks done a great job writing this book.
