What Members Thought
I have read a lot of Nicholas Sparks books. I have loved some characters, liked some, disliked others and even hated few. But never did I feel so disgusted with a character except for this book!! Kevin is made up of hatred, disgust, obsession, suspicion and ugly love. I read vicariously about Katie and I could actually feel her fear, sadness, anxiety etc. I fell in love with Jo's letter and her last sentence brought tears- "If my husband chose you, I too chose you." AMAZING!!!! Nicholas Sparks does it again. I love all his stories and thought I was going to get through one with out crying. I was wrong. At least it was a good cry and I made it all the way to the end of the book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I enjoyed this book but it was quite different for me than other Nicholas Spark's books with the violence, drinking and domestic abuse. It was a good love story however.
