3.5-4 stars. this one was a little different from his usual, still a good story, just different. Not quite as well written as the others I have read by him.
This book was the farthest from what I expected from Nicholas Sparks. I didn't enjoy this book near as much as the past novels I've enjoyed by him. The characters were well developed as usual, but the plot line was more dark than I tend to prefer. I am hopeful that this is not going to become the new style of Sparks.

AMAZING...Simply Breathtaking, as any Sparks Novel is! I don't know where he comes up with his story lines but they get me emotionally thinking each time. Starting with the title, all the way to the end of this book everything was perfect! It made my laugh, cry and fall in love with every chapter!! I highly recommend this book to anyone!!!

Can't ever pass up a Nicholas Sparks read. Good as always, didn't make me cry this time though!
